The Youth Community Fridge is a free service for young people accessing our Over 12's or Under 12's Youth Club that provides food & snacks, which can be accessed at any time during their youth club session.

More Information
Our Youth Community Fridge, the first of its kind in the UK was launched in 2022 and provides open access to free food, warmth and support for young people under 25 experiencing hardship. Over the past year, our fridge provided 828 meals, snacks and drinks to 276 unique visitors and gave young people a safe, non-judgmental space to charge phones, stay warm, and be supported.
Youth Community Fridge opening hours are in alignment with Youth Club Session Times (term time) - Tuesday 5:30pm - 7:30pm and Wednesday 4:45pm - 6:45pm
The Youth Community Fridge is also available throughout Playscheme in School Holidays.
The YCF provides food from a range of supermarkets such as M&S, Tesco, CO-OP, Asda, Aldi, Lidl, Sainsbury's, Nando's, KFC, and more!
Food includes sandwiches, pasta pots, wraps, ingredients for cooking, fresh fruit & vegetables and tasty pastries & treats.
The Youth Community Fridge coincides with cooking activities within youth club sessions.
